The second Common Ground event is this coming Tuesday, 5/29, in Portland.  I hope to see many of you there.  We are going to be moving deeper into understanding the whole of midwifery in Oregon during this meeting starting with a panel of midwives of different training and practice type and moving into large group discussion and small group work on some focused questions.  See you soon!

Dear Midwives and Student Midwives,

You are warmly invited to the second Common Ground event for all midwives.  This will be a potluck dinner and a night of community-building for midwives and student midwives.  Please bring a potluck dish and arrive on time so that we can fully use our time together.

Common Ground is a time for all midwives to come together to get to know one another and begin to identify our common values and goals for midwifery and motherbaby care in Oregon.  Direct-Entry Midwives, Certified-Nurse Midwives, and Naturopathic Midwives and student midwives are all welcome.  Together we will can work towards our vision for the future of midwifery care in Oregon.
