This event aims to bring together those that support quality healthcare for women, families, and communities! Participants will run or walk a 5K as individuals and teams. The course is an out-and-back on a well paved, mostly flat multi-use path. Strollers will be welcomed on the course! We will provide informal and unofficial finish times for those interested.
Individuals and groups are welcome to organize a theme, costume, or team color that unifies your team or a cause! Many people who plan to attend the event hope to share their pride in supporting midwifery and women's… join with them if you would like!
Part of the proceeds collected for this race will go to support women and families served by Baby Blues Connection.. Baby Blues Connection provides support, information, and resources to women and families coping with pregnancy and postpartum mood disorders and to the professionals who serve them. DIAPER DRIVE!!! We are also hosting a diaper drive to benefit the families served by Nurse-Family Partnership. Please bring a pack of diapers of any size to the race and they will be distributed to NFP locations throughout the state.
Cost of the race does not change for day-of-race registration, though we will only accept cash and checks at that time.

Day use fee for Champoeg State Heritage Area is $5 per vehicle. Please look for Race Staff at entrances to pick up your pass the morning of the event.
Participants are welcome to spend the day at this beautiful and culturally significant park on the banks of the Willamette. Open day use areas, a welcoming visitor’s center, and overnight camping make it a wonderful destination for the whole family.
