the oregon affiliate foundation
The Oregon Affiliate Foundation (the Foundation) is a non-profit organization associated with the Oregon Affiliate of the American College of Nurse-Midwives (the Affiliate).
The Oregon ACNM Foundation was established in 2012 to support the mission and purposes of the Affiliate with a focus on the education of Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs), Certified Midwives (CMs), Student Nurse-Midwives (SNMs) and other health professionals. As a 501(c)(3) organization, we offer individuals the opportunity to support our mission through tax-deductible donations.
Compassionate Support Fund
The Oregon ACNM Foundation administers a compassionate support for midwives in grief or work-related distress. The fund is established in the memory of Marc Huggins, the son of our Affiliate President, who died on March 20th, 2015.
In 2017 the Foundation’s Marc Huggins Compassionate Support Fund will fund subsidized or free counseling sessions, half-day small group self-care sessions, and material assistance as possible. The Fund will expand activities and scope in future years.
Contact us at email@example.com if you or someone you know needs assistance, or if you would like to join or communicate with the committee.
Please consider a tax-deductible donation to help support this important work.
